Networking and promotion is why people go to these things. The food indeed was delicious, but not necessarily very filling and perhaps more frustratingly: you had to literally fight your way through the crowds to get at any and couldn't take any until organisers deemed it OK to do so. In this respect Slush Helsinki worked a lot better (and the food was great). From a networking point of view the event itself was excellent with just about everyone there who should've been. Now it's up to us and other startups to use the new contacts made.
