Social Media Wins Along With Obama
Social media joined Barack Obama as the winner in the 2008 US presidential election. Social networks like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter, which were non-existent in the 2004 elections, played center stage in Obama’s campaign. This Reuters video talks about how Obama used social media to build his campaign in a way that made history and is bound to be a part of all elections to come.
