While 3 mil won't get you much with this red hot new startup, their solution is unique: they are taking tradional walled broadcast media and aggregating it, personalizing it (with a recommendation engine) and at times enabling true place shifting with their new Home Download option (which downloads remotely to your home computer) or via download with their subscription content. As an added bonus, if you set the VeohTV download folder as an auto update folder for your itunes, you can even stream their downloaded content to your TV via Apple TV.
